How to Care for a Wool Coat

A wool coat rarely needs washing. A little care after each wear keeps it looking new for many winters.

After you wear it

• Brush it down with a soft clothes brush to lift dust and fibres.
• Hang it on a wide wooden hanger so the shoulders keep their shape.
• Let it rest a day between wears so the wool can recover.

At the end of the season

Have it cleaned once, then store it in a breathable cotton cover, never in plastic, away from sunlight.
